Samoan Trip 2019
On the 8th Of September 2019 My Cousins, Aunty, Mum and I went to Samoa for 3 weeks. We have been planning to come to Samoa because we have not been to our Home land that often. During week 1 we started off with unpacking, choosing where to sleep and getting use to everyone. I had a lot of coconuts...maybe too much coconut…
Anyways Week 2, During this week we went to my uncles land in Vaitele for the first time. We went there to get some green bananas and to clean up some of the dead leaves. We also went to our other house at the Village in Tiavea. We went there to clean up because the house was not visited often, so therefore no one was there to clean up. A few days later we went to Sleep over at Tiavea.
Next we have our last week, Week 3. During this week we have been going out on some walks at the local ocean that is close to us. We have been going out walking and taking some awesome photos of the beautiful Samoan sun set. Over in Samoa the sunsets are BEAUTIFUL they have the best lighting for photos and the best angles from anywhere, and when I say anywhere I mean...ANYWHERE. Lastly we have been packing up our things to leave for our flight. We have been having a lot of fun over in Samoa. We have experienced things we have never experienced before like how clear the ocean water is, how nice the people are around here, how everyone waves at you for no apparent reason and how good there Mcdonalds are.
Kia ora Florence! Olive here from the Summer Learning Journey. How are you doing?
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing another activity! I really enjoyed reading your narrative about your time in Samoa. It sounds like you had a really wonderful three weeks. Samoa sounds very friendly, beautiful and warm! Now I want to go there! Ka pai on all your effort. I think it's a great piece of writing!

Hi Florence,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you said that the sunsets in Samoa are beautiful and they have the best lighting for photos. I found it interesting that the ocean water over there is clear, but in some places in New Zealand you can't see the sea floor. Why do you think the water is discoloured?
