Today I have completed my first activity for Day 2. This activity was to compare Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. I listed 3 things about Amelia, and Jean, then add a list of 3 of the same things.
Hi Florence, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the venn diagram you have created about two awesome aviators - do you want to be a pilot when you leave school, or maybe a flight engineer? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
Talofa Lava Florence, This is a great activity going towards the first week of the summer learning journey, I hope you have fun doing the activities. This was a very good way of showing the differences between the both Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. I know a fact was they both wanted to fly solo and be authors for there stories about there experience. Have fun doing the summer learning journey activities over the holidays. But keep it up with the great work Florence!.
This a great activity you have done for the Summer Learning Journey. I liked how your poster was and l learnt l whole load of new information from your post and l liked the facts you added about them and what they both have in common. Next time l think you could add more to your blog post blurb. Great job
These is a really neat Venn Diagram, and actually pretty informative. They were both very interesting woman, and had a lot more in common than I had expected before doing this activity myself. Do you know what these solo pilots looked like? Please share some photos if so! Nice work Florence!
Hi Florence, I liked how you provided information on how both of the aviators' lives ended. I also liked how you gave some interesting similarities, like how you said that they both travelled from country to country by themselves. Would you want to become a pilot like them when you're older?
