Kiwi Can | New Theme

This week for Kiwi Can we discus what we had a chat about last week and what we focused on. Last week we focused on Positive communication. This week we had a new theme. Our new Theme is Co-operation. We got straight into the Energiser. The energiser was called A's and B's. Down below will be the instructions.

How to play: To play be have to be with a bunch of other people/students. In your head pick someone out of all the people around you, pick one person. Then pick another person. With those two people in your head, make one of them your A. Then the last person is your B. Everyone then starts to walk, skip  or hop and whoever your A person is, you need to follow them around but, don't make it obvious that your following them. For your B person, you need to stay as far as possible from them. On the second round everyone need to continue with what they did on round 1 but, they have to ask people if they are your person A. If they ask you and that person is your person A then you are out.

That energiser was fun as we all bumped into each other constantly. We then went back inside the classroom and talked about our new them Co-operation. We talked about what Co-operation means and What we can do to co-operate.  I think that Co-operation means when you communicate with others or a group and share your information with each other. Something we can do to co-operate is to tell others your opinions, ideas and the information you have. They then pass on that information and it become a very nice piece of information.

Last we got into our activity. Our activity was called Magic shoes. This is how to play the activity.

You need to get in 4 even groups. You then need to have 2 of the strongest people out of your group to walk to the other side of the game area. Thing is that only one of them are allowed to touch the toxic river. So one of them need to carry the other person. Once they have reached the other side they need to run back to get the other team mates. They must we touching in some way to run back. Once they come back they need to carry another 2 people to take over. Once they take those 2 people, they come back and do the same thing. Once everyone is on the other side, your team has finished and placed out of 4. If your team is last your all out.

This week of Kiwi Can was fun. We did our points and got 47. We need to work of a few more things to get full marks.

LS2 READING CHALLENGE | Book 9

Ghosts
This week I have decided to do another book for the LS2 READING CHALLENGE. The book topic I have chosen is comic book. The book I chose is Ghost by Raina Telgemeier. This book is about a girl named Catrina. Down below is a summary about the book I read.

Summary -
Catrina and her family are moving to the coast of Northern California because her little sister, Maya, is sick. Cat isn't happy about leaving her friends for Bahía de la Luna, but Maya has cystic fibrosis and will benefit from the cool, salty air that blows in from the sea. As the girls explore their new home, a neighbour lets them in on a secret: There are ghosts in Bahía de la Luna. Maya is determined to meet one, but Cat wants nothing to do with them. As the time of year when ghosts reunite with their loved ones approaches, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister's sake - and her own.

I recommend this book because it is always interesting to find out what will happen on the next page. This book was interesting because of the photos that were shown on each page. My favourite part of this book is when they discover the ghost somewhere in/outside their house.
