Today I have completed the 1st activity for day. This task was a bit hard but bellow is a diary entry.
September 21 1962
Today is the 110th day in prison, I am wondering if I'm going to be alive any longer because the state of this prison is horrendous. I have been the same routine all this if I haven't I will list the things that I do throughout the day. First I wake up and I am meet with the viscous guards. Then we get taken to the commissary is get our breakfast but is normally that is rear we stay in cells the whole day until lunch which is at 12:00 and dinner which is at 7:00 or 7:30. I hope that in the next week I am out of prison because I am really impatient and I want to take the South African government.
Talofa lava Florence,
ReplyDeleteHow was your weekend? I had the pleasure of working at the ASB Tennis Classic that is taking place in Auckland and I even got to watch Serena Williams win her Singles match final. Also really happy to see the weather improving too.
I appreciate your diary entry and think it is very realistic! It is really sad to think that your diary entry could have well been the exact feelings that Nelson Mandela had about being in prison. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed reading your diary entry and I like how specific your writing is to a prison scenario. I also like how you have a date for the diary entry.
You are doing so well and are so close to finishing the Summer Learning Journey programme! Ka pai Florence, you are amazing :)

Hello Florence! I also think your journal entry is actually pretty realistic. Please provide a little more detail in your description about the activity, just so others can understand the purpose and task. And I like how some of the information is very factual, and you were actually able to imagine what it was like for Nelson. Do you have your own journal? A really enjoyable post, keep it up!
