For this activity, please reflect on your experience with the Summer Learning Journey programme this year.
On your blog please tell us:
- Which activity you enjoyed the most
I have enjoyed doing the Getting Stronger activity.
2. Which activity you enjoyed the least
The tapa design. I didn't like this activity as I thought it was a bit to much work, but that is my opinion.
3. Three things that you learned while completing the programme
What people can achieve if they believe
People that have risked a lot for us to live to this day
Learning during the holidays
4. What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year
Easier activities, I think we should have easier activities as some of them were hard.
Well done on posting, continuing to participate and completing the SLJ this year. What could you NOW do to be a climate changemaker Florence? Keep re-checking your blogging commenting on others and replying to every comment you have received on your posts to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break! Come and say "Hi" when you see me around PBS in 2020...
ReplyDeleteHi Florence!,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing the 2019-2020 Summer Learning Journey program. You have a reasonable change you would make for the SLJ program next year. You have put a lot of effort into these SLJ activities, so well done. Would you do the SLJ program next year?
Awesome Work Florence!
Kia ora Florence,
ReplyDeleteYou may or may not be aware of this but I just wanted to give you a reminder that you need to complete the ‘Fashion forward’ activity that is on Week 4 Day 4 Activity 1 if you are wanting to complete the whole Summer Learning Journey programme so you are very close! Just one activity away from finishing!
For this activity, you are asked to read an article about where some famous New Zealand brands got their names from and on your blog, you are to tell us how Twenty Seven Names got their name. Looking at their clothing brand, tell us whether you think this is a good name for them, or if they should change it to something else! Check out https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities/2019-week-4-y6-8 to see the full explanation of what you need to do to complete the activity!
Good luck Florence, you are so so close to finishing the whole programme, hang in there! :)

Hello Florence,
ReplyDeleteI am Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. Congratulations on finishing all 60 activities. That is a huge accomplishment. I think you have went through quite a journey. The activity about getting stronger is a great one to choose for your health. Once again congrats on completing the Summer Learning Journey. I would like to see you comment on other people's blogs! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Vitaraag :)
Hi Florence! I really enjoyed reading your Summer Learning Journey reflection, and view on the programme itself. I like your points for what you learnt, because it's basically what you've learnt over all - speaking in general. How did you feel about this year's Summer Learning Journey all together? I'd love to hear your feedback...You've been amazing over the past few weeks, and with all the activities. Fantastic work!
ReplyDeleteHi Florence,
ReplyDeleteI found it interesting that you think the activities should be easier next year. I also found it interesting that you liked the tapa design activity the least. Will you be participating next year?
