SSR Selfie

This week for SSR Selfie I have read the book "The Baby Sitters Club". I summarised every detail of what I read and recorded it onto the SSR Selfie slide. I read this book for 15 minutes and tried o record all of the details into my mind to remember and write down onto the slide. This book was very long so I had to get as much detail out as I could.

This week for SSR Selfie I read the book "The Baby-Sitters club" It was about 4 best friends running a Babysitting club. But one day the 4 Best friends got mad at each other. They didn't become Best friends anymore. Until Mary Anne (One of the 4 Best friends) thought of a way to get her friends back. She wrote an apology letter to all 4 of her friends and they also said sorry. They all became a group again and ran the Babysitters club together. For SSR Selfie you had to read for 15 minutes, In that 15 minutes you have to read. While your reading you have to memorise the parts of the story that you are reading in the story to record back onto your slide show. On the slide show you have to write down what you read. Add every bit of detail to make your writing longer.

SSR Selfie - I did this book for SSR Selfie.

Description of book - This book is about a 16 year old girl called Moana. She has been loving the ocean since she was a toddler.Her name stands for the ocean that how much she bonds with the water. Each day Moana would always be thinking about wanting to go out on the ocean. When ever she would try to go out on the ocean her dad would stop her. But when she finally got to go she went with pet  hay hay. Hay hay would get into a lot of trouble like walking off the deck. When she arrive at an island and found out it was Maui.

For SSR Selfie you had to read for 15, In that 15 you have to read. While your reading you have to leave the parts your reading in the story to record back onto your slide show. On the slide show you have to write down what you read. Add every bit of detail to make you writing longer.

This week for SSR Selfie I have read this book called The Best Worst Thing. For SSR Selfie you have to read a library book or a book for 15 minutes. After that 15 minutes you need to summarize what you read onto the SSR Selfie Slide. Add every bit of detail from your knowledge of reading into the summarize explanation. I wrote a little simple explanation on what my book was about. I enjoyed reading this book. I found it very interesting to read.

This week for SSR Selfie I have done the book James and the Giant Peach. For SSR Selfie you have to read a book for 15 minutes. Once 15 minutes were over we had to summarise the part that you had read. Once you finished summarising you had to take a photo of the book and yourself. The giant peach was made by Roald dahl.

This week for SSR Selfie I have decided to read Silver Dolphins. I got this book from our school library. I wrote a description of  what the book was about, I added a title and Also I put a photo of what the book cover looks like. I read for 15 minutes to get a good description of what the book is about. I found out that the book was about a secret silver dolphin called Antonia. She was responsible for helping the creatures of the bay when their environment was threatened.

Kiwi sport

At kiwi sport we played a activate the game that we played was when into 2 groups 1 group had to spread out on the field well the other group had to line up and wait until their turn of batting they had to hit the as far as they could and run around to the bases and go around as much as we could.The other team had to grab the 2 balls and put it on the to cones near the batter was batting.Then we had to take turns of batting and grabbing the ball. At the end we all had fun and next week we a re going to be learning about how to pitch.

Today I did SSR Selfie and the book I did was blood brother. My book was a chapter book I used to read this book in reading but I finished reading it so now i am doing another book.

L.I to explain more about books you've read. I learnt to explain part of a story. I learnt it by reading a book and when I finish I have to explain what I read or what happen in the story. My story was Owl Diaries/A woodland weeding. I wrote a lot about the book I had to take a photo of my book and my face.
