Day 2: Activity 3: Girl Power

Who have I chosen??

I have chosen my parents. I chose them as they have guided me throughout my life up to this very moment. They taught me everything I know or have added onto thing I already know. They support me through out everything and guide me down the right path.

For this activity, we would like to choose one role model and tell us about them. What makes them a role model? They can be people you know personally, people you have seen on television or the internet, people you have heard on the radio or people you have heard about from a friend of family member. You do not have to know them personally.

On your blog, tell us about your chosen role model. Please be sure to tell us why you think they are a role model.

Day 2: Activity 3: Hidden Figures

This is my hape, I didn't do really well when I used this app. I don't like it as it was really hard to concentrate, I was getting really frustrated because it wasn't going in the direction I wanted it to go.

For this activity we would like you to give coding a try. Click on the link for the website: code.org. If you try an activity and it is too easy, try a harder level!

Day 2: Activity 3: I have a dream

Today I have completed the last activity for Day 2. This activity was to consider the problem that Black men and women had back in the 1950s. Down below will be what I thought about the problem.

At the time there was a rule that on busses, there were labels of skin race. Rosa wanted to fight for what she believed so she sat where she wasn't allowed to. So when the bus driver saw that Rosa wasn't in the correct seat he demanded Rosa Parks to get off the bus. She refused to get off so the bus driver so Rosa Parks got arrested for  four days.

Day 2: Activity 3: Miracle in the Hudson

Activity 3 is about the Miracle in the Hudson. For this activity I have to write about a time someone was brave. Down below will be the person that I have chosen and the moment they were brave

 I have chosen Ellenora, Something I have chosen a moment from her when she was brave, the moment I have chosen was when she did the High Beam. I think that she was really brave to do that because the high beam was very high up and scary.

Day 2: Activity 3: The greatest of all time

Today I have completed my last activity for day 2 of the teaser week. This activity was to imagine that we are Garry Kasparov and how it would feel to be the bestest chess player in the world. I will list 3 pros of being the best chess player in the world and the cons of it. DOwn below will be my pros and Cons.

This week fro the summer learning journey I completed day 2, activity 3. This is what we had to do for the activity On your blog, tell us which project you find most interesting and why. It was a hard decision to make but I got there. Down below is my finished activity.

Out of the three I chose the FFI (Fauna & Flora International) I chose this company because they are the oldest. If this company has worked longer than any other company like this, then they have more experience on what to do. I think they are doing a great job on helping our animals.
