Think outside the box

L.I to transform a drawing into a whole new drawing.
Today I have created a drawing using the small design that was set for us. The drawing that was set for us (LS2) is outlined in red. I transformed the red drawing into a whole speech bubble. The drawing on the right is not apart of the drawing, but I wanted someone using the speech bubble for something.

Waltzing Matilda | Summary

This week for reading we  have been looking at a poem written by Banjo Paterson. We also looked behind the story, and what the words mean. There were no photos to show us what was happening in the poem, but we pictured the poem in our head and drew it onto a white board. Mrs. Then drew what the poem would have looked like in her mind. We all had a similar idea of what Mrs. Anderson had drew. With this poem we did a summary of the poem, the main idea of the poem and answered a few questions about the poem.

Maori/Kei te pehea koe?

L.I to draw emoji matching the phrase. I learnt how to draw emoji that match the Maori phrase. I learnt this by writing down the feeling on the bottom of the box and then I started to draw the expression, then we had to color the face in.  The feelings were Kei te pai, Kei te makariri, Kei te riri and Kei te wera. Kei te pai means Are you good, Kei te makariri means are you cold, Kei te riri means I am angry and Kei te wera means you are hot and sweaty.
