Day 3: Activity 1:Talk show host

My Passion? My Future? Oh, I think about it a lot actually. I think I would like to do Photography when I am older as it has been a passion of mine for nearly a year or 2. To start off with business type of thing, I will work at a supermarket like New world for a good few years until I have enough money to pay off my parents needs and get me some valuables. Once I finish working at the supermarket I will do Photography.

For this activity, we would love to know more about your interests (passions) and your future plans. What do you think that you would like to do when you are older? Do you have a specific job in mind?
On your blog, please tell us about your future plans (i.e. what you plan to do when you finish high school or college). Would you prefer to start working right away or to continue with your studies?

Day 3: Activity 1: Nanogirl

Would I live in a tiny house?

No, Because I need a big house as I move a lot and I need a lot of space when it comes to early mornings. I like big areas as I can do some random exercise in my own house.

For this activity, please visit the ‘Build Tiny New Zealand’ website and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a series of Video Tours of tiny houses. Watch any three videos on the site.
On your blog, tell us whether, or not, you would like to live in a tiny house one day. Please be sure to tell us why you feel the way that you do.

Day 3: Activity 1 The right to vote

For the first activity for day 3, I had to figure out what I wanted to put the $10 note. The following is the person I chose and the description about why I chose this person.

Image result for jacinda ardern

I have chosen to put Jacinda Ardern because she is a role model to the country. She helped with taking care of the Christchurch terrorist attack victims. She put NZ on the map with her actions and her public condolences.

Day 3: Activity 1: The Rainman of Rajasthan

Today I have completed my first activity for day 3. The activity was to watch a video explaining the water problems that happen in countries such as Rajasthan, India; sub-saharan Africa, etc. I created a D.L.O with my group Victoria, Fui and Chavda. In the DLO we included What the goal was for the Water Project, What the problems were and what they achieved. I enjoyed this activity because I got to collaborate with my friends to create the DLO.

Day 3 | Activity 1 | SLJ | Week 4

This week for the summer learning journey I completed day 3, activity 1. For this activity I had to watch 3 videos about people trying to make a change and safe our animals. Out of the 3 videos we had to choose which video was the best and why. Down below is my finished activity.

Out of the 3 videos my favourite one was the second one. It was the Taranaki Mounga Project. I liked this video best because people were trying to help an area that had family memories in. I just love how people care about others and their land.

Day 3 | Activity 1 | SLJ | Week 3

This week for the summer learning journey I completed day 3, activity 1. THis activity was where I had to pick any bird of my choice, I had to describe, where it normally lives, what it normally eats and post a picture of it. Down below is my finished activity.

The bird that I chose was the Orange Fronted Parakeet. Here is the description of this bird.

This bird lives in the forest located in south island beech forest valleys, It normally eats Seeds, Flowers, Buds and invertebrates. Orange fronted parakeets are endangered, their are not much of these bird left. I voted for this bird because I wanted New Zealand to help take care of this bird. There is less then 1,000 of these bird.

Day 3 | Activity 1 | SLJ | Week 2

This week for the summer learning journey I completed day 3, activity 1. This activity was where I had to say whether you are a night owl or an early riser. Then, tell us about the rest of your family. Are they the same as you? Down below is the activity.

I am a night owl because I don't like getting up in the morning. The rest of my family are not the same cause they are always up before me. I would like to get up at night because my eyes hurt when I wake up and the sun is in my eyes.

SLJ | Strange Beast | Day 3 | activity 1

This week for the summer learning journey we had to make up a beast and describe how it look, smells, feel and sounds like. Down below is my description of my beast.

My beast is a mix of a bird, a tiger, and a lion. This beast is called the Flying cat. It is called that because Lions and Tigers are a breed of cat, and a bird flies. My beast smells like sunflowers, feels like a puffy cloud, sounds like a bird that roars and it looks like a bird that had surgery and became half tiger and lion.
