Day 2: Activity 1: Through careful Observtions

What Can I see - Half the picture is Day time, and the other half is night time. The birds soaring through the sky are different colors depending on the time of Day/Night. When it's dark, everything is rather black or Grey, but when it's Day time everything is rather White or grey.

For this activity, we would like you to select one of the pictures below and to study or observe it closely. What do you see?
On your blog, describe the painting in detail. What do you see when you look at it? Please give us as much detail as you can!

Day 2 | Activity 1 | SLJ | Week 4

This week for the summer learning journey I completed day 2, activity 1. This is what we had to do for the activity On your blog, tell us how you would feel about going zip lining in Rotorua. Try to use some descriptive words (adjectives) and action words (verbs) in your post!. I'll try to add as many Adjectives and verbs as I can. Down below is my finished activity.

I would absolutely love to go zip line in Rotorua! I would like to see the amazing land they have, how clean their sea is. I think that when I'm about to go zip line I am going to be scared, but I get used to things very quickly. When Im zip lining I hope to see loads of gorgeous soaring birds. I wonder if there will be any animals that I have never seen before.

Day 2 | Activity 1 | SLJ | Week 2

This week for the summer learning journey I have completed day 2, activity 1. For this activity we had to explain if we would like to do flax weaving. Are we interested in it? Why or why not. Down below is my finished activity.

I would most definitely try flax weaving, because in Samoa we do a lot of designing, and flax weaving is one. I want to learn how to flax weave so I can make my own designs. I would make a flower and bag to start off with. Maybe I could get my family to teach me. It really interests me mostly because its a normal thing Samoans do.
