Day 1: Activity 2: Discovering Aotearoa

Today I have completed my second activity for day 1. This activity was where we can talk about your cultural background.

My cultural background is Samoa, My family comes from Samoa but I was born in New Zealand. The village that I live in is "Tiavea" In this village we ha a house, but it needed renovating. So we were given money to renovate it and make it look new. In Samoa we have a celebration called White Sunday. White sunday is a day in saoa where we celebrate the kids that go church. This celebration is always on the second sunday of october, I am not totally sure why but it is a great day to celebrate. My cultural is an amazing and I love it with all my heart.
