Finished Activity | Measurement

This week I have decided to pump the number of my blogpost by posting up a blog post of what I have done today. What I have done today is an Activity made by someone in LS1. We had to fill out a forms. In the form you had to fill out what we need Mr Ogilvie to cover up for us. I chose Money. So the money and Time group have to check out some peoples Activity that they made Last week. I have done an activity from Sakina. On her activities she ask people the conversion of the measurements. She also wrote the answers for people to see if there answers are correct. We had to move a circle to reveal the answer. I like how she added the Conversion part of measurement, also she added an explanation of the conversion. I really like her activity because it is easy and simple for people that don't know about Measurement and Conversion.

Measurement

This week for Maths we had to fill out a forum that was made by Mr Ogilvie. We got to choose what we wanted to be cleared up by (Measurement,Statistics,Number addition or Number subtraction). I chose  Number addition, but I was the only person that chose number addition so I got put with the measurement group. In my D.L.O I showed the conversion of the measurements. I also made an activity that is interactive so people from around the world can do my activity.

Measureing angles using a Protractor

L.I to measure angles using a protractor.
This week for Maths we learnt how to use a protractor to measure degrees. We had to get into a group with different people from different groups. I worked with Victoria,Farzana and Miiana. We used a protractor to find out the measurements for each angles. With the protractor we had to measure the degree the angles was in. There were 8 angles to measure. We also had to add the words Acute and Obtuse. Acute means something small and Obtuse means something big.

Measurements

L.I to measure four items and convert them to different measurement. I learnt how to convert measurements to different measurements. I learnt this by finding four items from the class and measuring them and converting them. The hardest measurement was the miller meters because the ruler I was using didn't show the millimeters because the ruler was old and the numbers were rubbing off, I got it in the end so I was glad.
