Today I have completed my writing task. The task that was set out to complete was where we wrote a procedural text about how to make a Hangi. We talked about what a Procedural text was and what we knew already about procedural texts. For the procedural text that we wrote, we used a site to find out how a Hangi was made. We also watched a video of someone making a Hangi. We learn about what was included in a procedural text so that we could add in our instructions. There are 4 parts to making a Hangi but 22 steps altogether. I included the title, materials/ingredients/equipment that will be used in the making of a Hangi, the numbers of order, verbs to start of sentences and I added the positive end.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.

Procedure Planning | Procedural Instructions
This week for writing Mr Wong's writing group had to write a procedure planner, which was a instructional writing. The instructions were about how to make a 3D shape. I made a square base pyramid to use for the instructions. I wrote down the structure Title End Results Materials used Pictures & Steps. All of those were included. Next to the writing we had to add photos of each step so that people don't get confused and stuck on one step.
