For this I had to read this Farewell Split. Then I had to write what the locals did to try save the wales.

1. Put Clothes and towels on the Whales.

For this activity I had to write a short story (8-10 sentences) about what might happen next. I had to pretend if I was in a forest and I was lost.


It was late at night when My Friends Were Nowhere to be seen, When I realized that I had walked away from my camp site. I tried Shouting For Help but I heard nothing But Crickets and other bug but after a few Minutes I started to Hear voices calling my name so I Followed where the Noises where coming From At the End I found myself on a unforgiving mountain.....

This week I was planning on doing the winter learning Journey so I went on the internet and started to do some of the activity's I started with Day #1 but I wanted to do other days rather then stay doing only one activity but I really enjoy doing the Winter Learning Journey so you should try this out.

Winter Learning Journey Day #3 Activity 2

For this activity I had read about New Zealand are working to kill pests like possum. Then you had to form a opinion and three reason why you think that way. I agree with New Zealanders that pests should be killed. My reasons:

1. Because they might carry diseases.
2. They frighten some people.
3. They kill things and leave the dead thing somewhere where it could stink.
4. possums can kill native animals.
5.  Although many people think opossums are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, there are several areas of intelligence in which they soar. For one, they have a remarkable ability to find food and to remember where it is. When tested for the ability to remember where food is, opossums scored better than rats, rabbits, cats, dogs … but not as well as humans. They also can find their way through a maze more quickly than rats and cats.

For this task I to create my own New Zealand flag and I use Flag designer I put some meaning for the colors and the red and blue stand for the colors of the Samoan flag  and the black stands for the All Blacks here is the Photo.

For this activity I had to choose a New Zealand Native that I would Adopt and I choose a kiwi I choose the kiwi because sometimes people can hunt for them and the Would be endanger and kiwis are special to New Zealand because it is just special I could say some facts about them but there is just to many options here is a photo of what a kiwi looks like!
