Day 2: Activity 2: One small step for man

For the second activity it states that you have to write a short poem that describe what you felt when you set foot on the moon. Below is a poem that I have written.

I stepped on the moon.

I felt like a Balloon floating in the air.

as I glare at the craters in the moon.

I take my first step

and I felt so dept.

  1. Hi Florence this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the poem you created about walking on the moon - would you REALLY like to walk on the moon? I'm not too sure I'd like the journey there... Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!

  2. Hello Florence! I love this poem- my favorite line was "as I glare at the craters in the moon" because i'm able to imagine the view of the moons surface through an astronaut helmet. How do you think it would feel experiencing no gravity for the first time? Nice work!

  3. Hi Florence,
I liked how you said that you glanced at the craters in the moon before taking your first step, they'd probably be massive. Do you know how the craters in the moon are created?
