Kiwi Sport

This week was our last session with Haymish. We played a game of rippa rugby. What we had to do was get into 4 groups. Two groups would battle each other. To win your team needed to get the ball to the goal. If someone rips your tag off then you need to pass the ball to your other mates in your group. Remember if someone rips your tag pass backwards, if you pass forwards then the ball has to go to the other team. You are not allowed to block the teams throw. You need to stay in your team zone if someone in the other group has the ball because the other team scored a goal then stay in the team zone. At the end of the session we had to talk about what we have done over the weeks and say thank you to Haymish.

Kiwi Sport

Today we went to kiwi sport. The first game we played was ripper rush.
The last person who wasn't in the line the fastest has to be the tagger.
We had to run full court to be safe.People were running fast as to get to the line.
Everybody was doing side stepping so they can make it to the line. Some people were getting tag.
Their were like lot of  people were becoming a taggers.
We had to get a bout and to tags i was the blue team we all had to get into groups there was one
two three groups i was in  number two.

Kiwi Sport

This week for kiwi sport we learnt a bit more of how to pass backwards. We had to get in three groups and two groups would stay on the court and the other group would have to stay on the hut/fale. The two groups that are playing against each other, one group will have the ball and the other group wont. So then the group without the ball has to try and rip off the rips on the person who is holding the ball. If someone takes off your rip and you have the ball then you have to pass it to your team mates. Your team has to get the ball to the goal. Who ever has the most point stay on the court and who ever doesn't that team goes off the court and swap with the team that is on the hut/fale.

Kiwi sport

This week for rippa rugby we learnt more of how to play rippa rugby. We were put into groups and we had to put on a belt and a rip. Next we had to try and rip of as many rips as we can, who ever had the most rips off is the winner. The next game we played was where we have to find a partner and you have to be on a line, to see if you are far enough from each other you have to put your hand out and when your finger touches your other partners fingers then that how far you need to be from each other. Next the coach would have to say orange or yellow if he says orange then the orange team has to run to their goal and the yellow team has to chase them and rip their tag off. I was partners up with my own teacher. I had a lot of fun playing rippa rugby this week.

Kiwi Sport

This week for kiwi sport our coach was Hamish. We learnt the basics of how to play rippa rugby. We had to get into three groups two groups are the non-bibs and one of the groups will be the bibs. We played a game where the bib vs the non-bibs then you had a ball and you have to pass it to the mates in your group. You have to keep passing the ball until one person has touched the goal with the ball. On the first round, when the ball is in your hands you cannot run with it. On the third or fourth round you can run with the ball in your hands but if the other team tags you with two hands on you then you have to pass the ball to your other team mates. That is all we did for this week. So going over what we did: we played about eight rounds of that game and between every two games we had to sit on the stage and then the coach Hamish would add in a rule.
