Day 3: Activity 3: Feast or Famine

Would I consider doing a 20 to 40 hour Famine? Yes, I would do a 20 or 40 hour famine as I raise money for people in need. I could do this famine about anythings like exercising. That would be good as its good for myself and other people.  I have heard about this a lot on the T.V, I like watching people do things for so long and not falling asleep once. I heard you can have little rests but then you get back to work.

For this activity, we would like to know if you would consider doing a 20 or 40 Hour Famine to raise money for charity.
On your blog, tell us whether, or not, you would participate in 20 or 40 Hour Famine. If you have already participated in a 20 or 40 Hour Famine, please share your experience, including why you decided to participate and some highlights and challenges of the experience. To get full points, please provide at least six sentences.

  2. Hi Florence!,
It's great that you have been positive and active with the Summer Learning Journey program. I have enjoyed reading about whether you would do the 20 or 40 hour famine or not. I would also do the 20 or 40 hour famine. It looks like you put a lot of effort into these activities. Would you like to be an ambassador of the 20 to 40 hour famine?

    Nice Work!

  3. Hi Florence
A challenge worth considering. I think it would be difficult, but would certainly made easier if you had your family or a group of friends doing it with you.
Well done on the SLJ .

  4. Kia ora Florence,

Thank you so much for sharing your views on the 20-40 hour famine. Do you think it's good that we have a choice of what to give up, and do you think its helps people all over the world understand what it would feel like to have no food? Giving up technology for 40 hours is a good idea! It would be interesting to experience no technology for almost two days.

  5. Hello Florence! I really enjoyed reading your view on the 20 or 40 hour famine. I'd personally do a famine too - I think it's really beneficial! I think giving up food is a good way to experience what others do. If you did a 20 or 40 hour famine, who would you do it with and why? Good work!

  6. Hi Florence,
I liked how you said that you would do a 20-40 hour famine in order to raise money for those in need. I found the fact that you can take breaks for a short while interesting, since I thought the whole purpose of the famine was to get rid of something for a set amount of time.
