ReplyDeleteTotally agree. Did not know about his invention. Life would be very different without having this in our homes. The same for our country as New Zealand was the first to use refrigeration to export our products across the world.

Wow, that is pretty amazing. Can you imagine where we would be without refrigeration? We would have to eat everything they day we cook it, you could never have leftovers!
Apparently Oliver invented his refrigeration machine in 1805, but did you know that it wasn’t until 1913 that home fridges were invented? I wonder why it took so long for Oliver’s invention to enter the market?
