Day 3: Activity 1: Nanogirl

Would I live in a tiny house?

No, Because I need a big house as I move a lot and I need a lot of space when it comes to early mornings. I like big areas as I can do some random exercise in my own house.

For this activity, please visit the ‘Build Tiny New Zealand’ website and scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find a series of Video Tours of tiny houses. Watch any three videos on the site.
On your blog, tell us whether, or not, you would like to live in a tiny house one day. Please be sure to tell us why you feel the way that you do.

  1. Hey Florence! I think this was an interesting topic because not everyone would like to live in a tiny house, and I enjoyed reading your opinion. Personally, I wouldn't mind living in a tiny house because there would be just enough room and storage for me, especially if I was living alone. I agree that there aren't big enough spaces to do some things, but depending on what it is, there can definitely be some ways to get around them. Although you wouldn't enjoy a tiny house, do you know some of the benefits of living in one? Well done!

  3. Kia ora Florence! Olive here form the Summer Learning Journey! How are you?

Thank you for your blog post! I really enjoyed reading about your opinion on Tiny Houses! I appreciate you have a different opinion - I’d love to live in a tiny house. I think it would be excellent to have everything in one place. It would also be really nice to travel around the country so easily! I think Tiny Houses provide a really interesting perspective on how to maximise space and minimise the use of clutter! I think I’d like to live in one someday.

Remember the end of the Summer Learning Journey is next Friday 24th January! Keep up the blogging, commenting and enthusiasm!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  4. Hi Florence,
I liked how you said that you wouldn't want a tiny house because you need a lot of space in the morning. I don't think I'd want a tiny house either. How big would you want your house to be?
