- Yellow River. - China - The yellow river is the second longest river in Asia. Before the yellow river is the Yangtze River.
- Sarno River - Italy - The Sarno River is known as Sarnus to the Romans. Its a stream that passes through Pompeii to the south of the Italian city of Naples. It is considered the most polluted river in the whole of Europe.
- Mississippi river - USA - The Mississippi River is in the USA, It is the second longest river of the US and the chief river of the second largest drainage system on the north american continent.

This week for the summer learning journey I completed Day 5, activity 2. This activity was where I had to list 3 rivers that are polluted, the location of the rivers and what is been done to clean up the pollution (If any) . Down below is the information.

Greetings Florence what an outstanding blog post from you. The 3 rivers that you chose sounds really bad. I love it how you have chosen 3 rivers and have told us more about it. Which one would you visit? If I were you I would want to see what the Yellow River looks like.

Hello Florence! Well done on this activity. I like that you were able to find world wild rivers and found extra information about them. It's shocking the amount of pollution in rivers. What would you rename the most polluted waterway in the world? Keep it up!

This was really interesting to read about some rivers around the world that are polluted. I hope there is something being done to clean them up?
I am thinking that maybe you have misread this activity...

Use Google to help you find two other polluted rivers in New Zealand.
On your blog, tell us:
1) The names of the rivers.
2) The location of the rivers.
3) What is being done to clean up the rivers (if anything).
