Day 3 | Activity 2 | SLJ | Week 2


This week for the summer learning journey I have completed day 3, activity 2. For this activity I had to write down the ingredients for it. Down below is a recipe and the ingredients.

Cheddar cheese grated, minced beef, chopped onion, diamond roast beef, lean beef mince, tin chopped tomatoes, tablespoon olive oil.
  1. Preheat oven to 170°C
  2. Heat oil in a large saucepan and cook onion for a few minutes until softened. 
  3. Add the minced beef and cook for 5 minutes until it had browned.
  4. Stir in the rice portion of the rice risotto.
  5. Add the flavour sachet, tin of tomatoes and 1 cup of water. Bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and cook fir 10 minutes.
  6. Place this mixture into a baking dish and cover with overlapping slices of tomato.
  7. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until the cheese is golden.

    This sounds so yummy. What is it that you are making? It doesn't say. Anything with beef and cheese is good in my books.
