This week for the summer learning I completed the last day of Week 2. The activity today was where I had to list 3 ways or strategies to get donation money to help the great barrier reef. Down below is my finished activity
Start a charity. People can give in money to help people in need, half of the money that is given in can go to the donation and to the people in need.
Start a Campaign. Get people to join your campaign and whoever joins pays a donation. The campaign is to help people get fit and healthy.v
Hey Florence, my name is Billy and I am from the Summer Learning Journey programme. It's great to see that you are working hard during your break. I hope you keep it up throughout the summer!
ReplyDeleteIn June I moved to London, England. So I am currently writing from the other side of the world! How cool is that?!
Thanks for sharing three wonderful ideas to help raise money to preserve Great Barrier Reef. I really like your first idea about having a raffle. These can be especially lucrative (profitable) if you are able to get donated goods too.
A campaign is another fantastic idea because it raises awareness and will hopefully get more and more people involved. There might be people that have no idea about the current situation. So just getting the message out there is very useful.
Is there anything that you would personally want to campaign for or raise money for?
Thanks, Billy.
Greetings Florence,
ReplyDeleteIt's great you are on week 3! You should add the question from the SLJ site of the activities and weeks you are doing it. Which question would you prefer to help donate money?
Keep it up!
Greetings Florence,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing blog post from you. I did this activity too. Your 3 ideas great. I liked it how you gave your idea and told us why we should do that. I love it how you've added adjectives into your ideas.
Nice Work!
Hello Florence,
ReplyDeleteI think that your ideas to help donate money is very creative. I live idea 3 because it is smart to start a campaign. Keep up the hard work!
Talofa lava Florence,
ReplyDeleteI really like how you have written your answers perfectly, and I also like how you have written in your blurb what you have learned. By the way congratulations for completing the Summer Learning Journey. Not yet completed but well done. I also like how you have decided to stop there.
How do you feel finishing the SLJ programme?
