SLJ Week 1 Activity 5
Today I have completed another SLJ activity. Optical art consist of geometric shapes and patterns, and is often in colored black and white, but I wanted to switch it up and create mine in a different color (Pink). This activity was about creating an optical illusion rather drawing it on google drawings, or drawing it by hand on paper. I chose to draw mine on google drawings. How I drew it: I drew my optical illusions by first tracing the main shape of the whole thing, then putting in the lines in the middle, which made the illusion look the way it does. I also had to draw a triangle in the middle and it was all pink with lines and it looked weird. Choose that decision changed the whole drawing. On the side I tried to add what the optical illusion is suppose to do. I enjoyed creating this activity as I got to create something I had never created before.

Kia Ora Florence,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
What a fantastic optical illusion! You’ve traced it so well and I love your colour choice. The pink is beautiful. I also really like how you explain the optical illusion in the text so your readers understand how it works. Ka pai!
Was it hard to make an optical illusion? What gave you this idea?
You’ve done such a great job! If you would like even more points for this activity, you can add another post showing how to make an optical illusion if you would like.
Great job and keep up the good work!
Ka kite anō,
Shannon (SLJ)
