Yesterday we had a scavenger hunt challenge The children in my group were Victoria,Raera,Terangimarie and I.

First we had to make a daisy chain.We had a few difficulties making the chain but then we finally finished.Next we had to do a cartwheel.It was fun. After that we had to measure the width of the netball court.Then we had to make a letter with our body. We made the letter Y and it was great fun.Finally we had to go to the library and write the titles of 3 Gerinomo Stilton books and 3 GooseBump books.Next we took a photo of an oblong shape. We had to find the shape on the outside of one of the school building.Finally we took a group selfie and went back to class to calm down.

Once there lived a fabulous unicorn named Lucy.She lived in a pretty little village.Her village was covered with beautiful flowers.

One day when Lucy went to get the mail she saw a letter. It was an invitation from the sky unicorns to a party.

The invitation  said if anyone saw a rainbow then they had to follow it.The party was to  start at 8.00pm but Lucy decided that she would go at 7.00pm. Lucy got ready and flew off.

While she was flying she couldn’t see anything but dark black clouds.After a few minute Lucy saw a  light. She decided to follow the bright light.The bright light was the rainbow.She  was excited so she flew over the rainbow and there it was! the Unicorn’s tower.She  had an awesome time at the party.

Mythical Narritive

Today I was learning to write a multiplication equation for arrays I had made.

Narrative

Today mum and I went to Nana’s house.Before I went in I stood and examined her cottage.I saw paint peeling off the walls and the windows. Nana’s garden is beautiful because the flowers are colourful .When I got inside I saw her cute cat Toby.Nana has short silver hair.She uses a walking stick so she can walk properly.Nana also wears glasses and she is quite frail.  My Nana loves me as much as I love her.

Nana and I walked into the kitchen when suddenly Toby ran in front of her. Then poof! I heard a bang! When I turned around nana was on the floor. I glanced at her and immediately called 111 for the ambulance. After a while the doorbell rang. “That must be the ambulance,” I whispered to nana.The ambulance took nana to the Emergency room.I called mum to pick me up.

When mum arrived we went straight to the hospital.Nana stayed in  hospital for a few days .I suggested that Toby should stay with us. “ That is a very good idea,” agreed mum.I am so happy that my nana is well now.

Using correct punctuation

“Here we are at last,” moaned Matthew.

“It’s a great place,” said mum.

“I hope it has wifi because I want to watch John cena.”

“You’ll be lucky”

“We will be busy doing lot’s of activitie’s, “Mum said.

“This is not my idea of a holiday,”Matthew moans.

The Auckland zoo.[fw]

In the school holidays I went to the Auckland zoo.I went with my family,best friend Hayley and I.We went to get the tickets to enter the zoo.When we got in It felt like an adventure we went to the zoo to have fun.It was quite noisy when we got our ticket.We used the map to find the giraff’s but we didn’t need the map because the giraff’s were beside us.So we looked at them eating we there long neck.Then it was time to see the umu but  the umu were very far  so we went to see the tiger.when got to the tigers place they were sleeping then Hayley said let’s see the red panda’s.Then we went to see the red panda’s but  then we got a little bit hungry.So we stoped and ate for a while…..then we finished eating but then it was time to see the other animals.We saw the alligator.The alligator's were doing nothing then it was time to go back home but we had fun I felt happy.
