Leaf Art Challenge

Today's Home Learning challenge was to create an animal out of leaves collected from your backyard. I got creative and created a Cat, I got a little more creative by putting more leaves around it making it look like it was surrounded by nature. Down below will be 3 facts on cats.

  1. Cats conserve energy by sleeping for an average of 13 to 14 hours a day
  2. A group of cats are called a clowder.
  3. A male cat is called a tom, a female cat is called a molly or a queen, while young cats are called kittens.

    Hi Florence

    I love your picture because it's creative and cats are my favourite animals. Do you have any pets? Your facts are interesting and I can absolutely agree with the first one as my cat definitely does this! I knew a group of cats was called a clowder but I did not know that a female cat was called a molly or a queen. Thank you for teaching me that.

      Hi Mrs. Anderson, I love seeing that you liked my picture for it's creativity, I can agree with you that cats are also my favourite animal, and yes I do have a pet, a Cat actually. It's great to see that I have taught you a new facts about cats.
