Cybersmart | Netiquette
This week for Cybersmart we learnt rules on how to act online/internet. I have written 5 main rules for when online/internet. The rule that I think people should follow is number 5,3 and 1. We edited a slide that had dos and don't. It meant what should we do online/internet and what we should not do online/internet. If you follow these rules the internet will be save and no trolls.

Kiwi Can | Accountability
This week for Kiwi Can we talked about owning up and accepting the consequences. We also did a re-cap of what we talked about last week. This week the games we played were hand soccer and snatch the cone. To play hand soccer you will need two goals and two lines of girls and boys.
Number yourselves up and one person would say a number and if that is your number you have to stand up
and touch your goal Once you have touched the goal then you have to use one hand to get the ball into the other
teams goal. To play snatch the cone you need to get into 2 lines of girls and two lines of boys. You then want to
find a partner in those lines and there will be a cone in front of you and your partner. Then someone will say a
word and that word is the magic word and once the person has said the magic word then both you and your partner has to
snatch the cone before your partner gets it. At the end of the session we did pizza points we got 24 out of 25.

L.I to understand corresponding fractions, decimals and percentages. L.I To understand mixed numbers, Improper, Proper and equivalent fractions. I learnt how to figure out what type of fraction a fraction is. I also know what percentages a fraction would be and what decimal a fraction would be. This week for Maths we had to complete a fractions task. On the first D.L.O was the Fraction we had to use, what type of fraction the fraction was, how we can show it as equivalent and how we can show it with materials. On the last D.L.O was how we can show the fraction with materials, the fraction we needed to use, how we can show a fraction as a percentage and how we can show a fraction in decimals.

Show and Tell | Descriptive Writing
L.I to turn a boring piece of writing into a interesting detailed piece of writing. I learnt how to Show and not tell. When you tell someone a text/opinion it will sound boring and if you Show a text/opinion then it will sound interesting and detailed. This week for our must do we had to make a Show and tell Descriptive writing D.L.O. On the D.L.O was a picture of what we had to Show and tell. The photo was a man walking his daughter into the crystal blue ocean. Also their were 2 text boxes that had Show and tell written on them. For tell we had to write a boring description of what the photo looks like and for the Show we had to write a detailed and interesting description of what the photo looked like.

Kiwi Sport
This week was our last session with Haymish. We played a game of rippa rugby. What we had to do was get into 4 groups. Two groups would battle each other. To win your team needed to get the ball to the goal. If someone rips your tag off then you need to pass the ball to your other mates in your group. Remember if someone rips your tag pass backwards, if you pass forwards then the ball has to go to the other team. You are not allowed to block the teams throw. You need to stay in your team zone if someone in the other group has the ball because the other team scored a goal then stay in the team zone. At the end of the session we had to talk about what we have done over the weeks and say thank you to Haymish.

Kiwi Can
This week for kiwi can we talked about our topic (Accountability) And the Theme (Integrity).
The game we played was Hand soccer and Shark attack. To play Hand soccer this what you do:
There will be 4 hoops and their will be a bunch of people running around the room. So the 4 hoops are your safe pads.
That's were you have to be when someone says Shark attack. If the referry takes away some hoops then it will be
harder. The next game was Hand soccer. To play hand soccer you will need two goals and two lines of girls and boys.
Number yourselves up and one person would say a number and if that is your number you have to stand up and touch
your goal. Once you have touched the goal then you have to use one hand to get the ball into the other teams goal.
Later on we did some GKQ and it was fun. We got a perfect score of 25 because we got 5 for all of the points. So
we might get a chance of winning a free lunch with the Kiwi Can leaders.

Maori | Story | Weave
L.I to make a raranga fish. I learnt how to make a weaved fish/ika. First we read a story. The book was called Ngake and Whaitaitai the two taniwha of wellington harbor. The book was about two Taniwhas by the name Whataitai and Ngake. Whaitaitai and Ngake got into a fight and Ngake made a big hole in the harbour because he wanted to escape. Then Whaitaitai tried to make another hole. Whaitaitai thought that he was big and strong like Ngake and he got stuck in the sand. Whaitaitai wriggled around to try to escape but he just sank into the sand. After a few years Whaitaitai would call help everyday but no one heard. One day a bunch of wakas floated across Whaitaitai and Whaitaitai would yell at them to help him. But after the people in the waka played a song/waita. Soon he came free.

Math Fractions Think board
L.I Count forwards and backwards to name a whole number. L.I Recognize the whole object, part of a object and equal parts and their names.I learnt about what a numerator and the denominator is. The numerator is how much parts/pieces you have and the Denominator is the lower number that is means how much parts/pieces you have altogether. The way that I remember the Numerator is by calling it number and for the denominator I would call it Divider/Decrease. Our must do was to blog our think board. On the think board we had to show a fraction with equipment, Show with a fraction, Other names to call a fraction and a word story about the fraction you chose.

Word Master
L.I to master words. I learnt how to figure out what words mean by doing this task but in my head. I learnt this by picking a word from slide 6,7 or 8. On those three slides there will be words that you have to pick from and you have to choose one for slide 2 and 3 and 6 words for slide 4. I think I will improve in reading now because of this strategy because now if I don't understand a word then I can break it down into words that have similar sound.

Inquiry tasks | Compulsory Task
This week for inquiry we had our compulsory tasks and our elective tasks. In our compulsory tasks we had Explanation, Fish bone, Poetry/prose and Sculpture. In our explanation we had to write about how a organism respires. In our fish bone we had to draw a fish bone organizer showing the parts and functions of the respiratory and the circulatory system. In our poetry/prose we had to show how the circulatory system works by writing either a poem, a narrative or imaginative recount and in our sculpture task we had to Create a labelled sculpture of one of the parts of the respiratory/circulatory system in humans. In our elective tasks we had the Double Sequence Chart, Picture / Poster, Slide presentation, Song Lyrics, Venn Diagram video and word ring. In the double sequence chart we had to draw a double sequence chart and explain how a organism respire. In the Picture / Poster we had to draw a picture or poster showing the parts of the respiratory / circulatory system in humans or another animal but the task must be hand drawn. In the slide presentation we had to make a slide showing what the parts of the respiratory / circulatory system does. In our song lyrics we had to write a vocabulary list for all of the words used in the selected song.We really enjoyed this time doing Inquiry because we get to learn more things about our body. In the Venn diagram we had to compare the parts of a human and another organism that lets them respire. In the video we had to make a video explaining what each part of a human respiratory / circulatory system does and in our word ring we had to Create a concentric word ring of words for the respiratory / circulatory system.

Maori | Word find
This week for Maori we had Mrs Odie. We did some puzzle that were involved in Matariki.
Some of the activities were the word find and we read a booklet. I really like the activities we
did because of the word find. The begging of Matariki new years was is June 15th and it ends
on June the 30th. For the word find we had to find lots of Maori words. We didn’t do the Booklet
because we ran out of time. On the back of the paper we had to write the Matariki Macarena and
write our name of the front. Mrs Odie showed us what some Maori words meant.

Japanese and Lattice methods
This week for math we had to solve two questions using the timetables that Mr Ogilvie has set up for us. The equations are 19 x 17 and 32 x 23. We also had to make a D.L.O using the knowledge that we have learnt. We could make a video off Screen castify. We had to make a google slide and explain how to make the two methods. The fastest and easiest would be the lattice method which is the box one because you don't need to draw so much stuff, but the Japanese method is more time taking.

Structure and language of a Narrative
I learnt what the structure of a narrative was and I know what the language of a narrative is. The structure is TOPES - T - Title, O - Orientation, P - Problem,E - Events and S- Solution. In the orientation you must include the 5 Ws and a hook, In the events you must include what happen and in the solution you must include a description of the final outcome. We had to make a D.L.O explaining the structure and languae of a narrative and how it reminds us about how to write a narrative.

This week I have decided to do a general knowledge because I want to learn more about different countries. I worked with my cousin Ellenora, the country that we chose was Tuvalu. We used google maps for the computer generator and to find the closest countries.

Kiwi Sport
This week for kiwi sport we learnt a bit more of how to pass backwards. We had to get in three groups and two groups would stay on the court and the other group would have to stay on the hut/fale. The two groups that are playing against each other, one group will have the ball and the other group wont. So then the group without the ball has to try and rip off the rips on the person who is holding the ball. If someone takes off your rip and you have the ball then you have to pass it to your team mates. Your team has to get the ball to the goal. Who ever has the most point stay on the court and who ever doesn't that team goes off the court and swap with the team that is on the hut/fale.

This week for kiwi can we talked about Role models. We played a energizer called cat and mouse to play this is what you do: get into lines of four and put your arms spread out. One person will have to say right or left when that person says left or right the four lines need to turn that direction and their will be two people, the mouse and cat. The cat will be holding a pool noodle and the mouse will just have to run. The cat had to try and hit the mouse with the pool noodle so that the mouse is out. Our other game was the cat walk. For this game you will need to have music 2 lines of girls and boys and the 2 people in the middle will have to walk down the middle of the boys and girls and do something their must be music included. last we had a dance battle and no one needs to know how to play that because everyone was born with it.
