Day 4 SLJ Bonus activity

For this activity I had to rank 3 kapa haka groups. So here are my ranks for the kapa haka groups.

1. Te Iti KahurangiFor this last Kapa Haka group I rated them a 1 as well because I liked the lead singer she put in loads of effort in her singing and I heard her clearly.

2. Tamatea Arikinui For this Kapa haka group I rated the group a 2 because the group was moving around everywhere and my eyes couldn't focus on one person.

   Te puku o Te Ika For this Kapa Haka group I rated them a 3 because one of the ladies were holding a frame and for me I thought to myself that how would the lady dance with the frame in her arms

Day 4 SLJ Activity 2

For this activity I had to go and read 4 old maori games. I had to choose which game I wanted to do and I picked Ki o Rahi. I haad to name the game, the goal or purpose of the game and two rules about the game.

1. Name of game - Ki o rahi
2. The goal or purpose of game - The goal of the game is to hit the object i the middle circle.
3. Two rules -  When you are about to kick or throw the ball you have to throw it to the middle and the second rule is that if someone takes off one of your tags then your team has to give the ball to the other team.

For this task I had to find a Maori waiata song. I chose Haere mai. I chose that song because the junior kapa haka group dance to that song and I know how to sing it so it is basically a waiata that not only I know. I like it because it is very catchy for me. I learnt it on probably the second time they performed it so yeah.

Day 3 SLJ Bonus Activity

Fr this Activity I had to write some things about 3 people like to do in my family and 2 facts about them.



Likes:


Mum: She likes talking to her sisters and she likes playing her phone.



Dad: He likes to watch Blue ray movies and he likes to read series of Wilbur smith books.



Me: I like doing gymnastics and I like doing learning in the holidays to keep my brain working.






Facts:





Mum: She can talk Samoan better than me and she has shorter hair than me.



Dad: He has been going to work for +10 years now and he is also a trades man.


Me: I am a year five student at Panmure bridge school but turning a year 6 in 2018 and I am in LS1/ Learning Space one.

For this activity I had to write in a pepeha. I took out some things that I didn't understand. I think that I got these gaps right.

Day 3 SLJ Activity 1

For this task I had to explain how I would feel if I was in such a large family. Why or Why not?


I would say I wouldn't like to be in a large family because younger sibling might annoy me or big siblings might be mean to me and I don't want that to happen to me.

Day 2 SLJ Bonus

For this task I had to say what I like about a meal. My meal was Mc Donald's.


I like Mc Donald's Because it has good flavors and good tasting drinks. Mc Donalds is probably they best food I've eaten because it really makes me full.
