Kiwi Can
This week for Kiwi Can we have been talking about Integrity and Responsibility. We talked about how we could get motivated, what are some things that we can do to get motivated and what motivates us to do things. Our energiser is called head, shoulders, knees and Cone. In this game we have to be able to get to the cone before our partner does. There is a cone in between you and your buddy. The first person to get the cone 3 times is the winner. The activity was called helicopter pop out. To play this game you needed to have a skipping rope to jump over and then we would have a ball that we have. The ball is to pass around in a circle. I really enjoyed Kiwi Can this week.

Kiwi Sport | Gymnastics
This week for Kiwi Sport we had a few different activities at the rotations. On the first rotation we have the Trampoline, on the trampoline we need to run and jump on the trampoline and do a forward roll on the mat, the next activity was the back roll/handstand and candle stick and then we have the spring board to do a straight jump. The second rotation has the staircase balance, the wall handstand, the Bars, the shoulder workout, the scale balance and the forward, backward and side ward walk on the hexagon. On the last rotation there is the jump on the beam, the bunny hop, the forward roll on the wider beam, the cat jump/jumps and the cartwheels. We had a try on each activity at each rotation, it was a really good work out for all of us. I really enjoyed doing the stretches because I was really good at the stretching positions.

Tech @ Tamaki College
This week at tech was great. We were with Mrs Ferguson for our second lesson or Graphics. We started of with finishing our DLOs that we made about toys. We wrote the labels of the game, the materials that the game was made out of and how to play the game. We tried to do this with at least 2 or 3 of the games. We then moved onto doing the basics of graphics. We were taught how to make 3D shapes and how to shade them with different tones of colours. We used our pencils to do the shading. We learnt about the Light tone, The medium Tone and the Dark tone. We used these tones to colour in the sides of our 3D Shapes. Once we were used to doing it suing the pencil, we were allowed to use the coloured pencils to do some more shading. I really enjoyed doing the shadings this week with Mrs Ferguson.

Literary Devices
LS2 is on a journey to explore about Poetry. We were challenged by Mrs Anderson to make a DLO but only using Google Doc and the explore tool. On this google doc we wrote about the meaning of each literary device, and attribute the images that we used. We used the explore tool to find images or examples for each literary device. Before we could get onto learning about Poetry, we learnt about the Literary Devices because in poetry people use a lot of these literary devices. I really
