Experimenting with UV light

L.I: To design an inquiry to test prediction on effective UV filters.

This week LS2 has been trialing the electronic sensors for the Kiwrious. Saranga, Sonia, Evan, Dawn and Xanne from the AHL at the Auckland University. They came to our class to talk about sensors, and UV Lights. We got little sensors to trial with. We got  challenged to test out different materials to see which one would protect Zally (Our little friend) the most. We tested out how much protection Zally would get with no roof, with a clear plastic roof, and with a red paper. We created a DLO using all the information we collected. The DLO shows me testing out each material, and I also included a small description that says what we were testing out, and what the highest number of sunlight was for the sensor.
