Today I have decided to blog another Haiku Poem. This poem is about how Maui slowed the sun, this is a summary of the book but as a Haiku Form. I worked with Victoria for this task, we worked collaboratively to ge this completed. The Haiku structure goes like (5 syllable sentence for the first sentence, then a 7 syllable for the second sentence, then a 5 syllable sentence for the last sentence of he verse) but, for this task we did 5 verses.
Hi Florence
ReplyDeleteI think you and Victoria have done an amazing job retelling the story in a Haiku poem. You have really captured the story in a powerful way. I think the great thing about Haiku is that you don’t need too many words but choosing the right words is important and you have done this really well.
Good job.
