Kiwi Can
This week we had Kiwi Can again. Our Kiwi Can leaders are Mr Matt and Miss Paige. Before we got into talking about respect, we played our Energiser. Our energiser was called Centre Ball. To play Centre ball you need to have a bunch of people and they have to stand in a circle. There will be one ball in the middle of everyone. Then you will be numbered 1 to 4. After we were numbered up we started the game. So one person will be yelling out a number between 1 and 4. If your number is called you have to run around everyone. Once you ran around everyone you have to go to where you were and run in it and grab the ball before everyone gets the ball. The winner is the person who gets the ball the most. After the game we had a talk about what respect we give outside of the school,In school, in class etc. We talked about if we agreed with the school rules and if we didn't we had to say why. I was in the middle of Agreeing and disagreeing. We also talked about what are some rules we would like to change. After we talked about that we played our activity. Our Activity was bus stop. To play bus stop you need a piece of paper or a white board. We had to draw a box, There were categories (Boys name,Girls name,Food,Animal,Colour and Total) What we had to do was, Someone was going to say a letter and then the groups had to write a the a word for each categorise and each of the words have to start with the letter that was called out. The winner was the group with the highest score.

L.I: To get better at doing my divisions
Today for my can do I did Division. The divisions i did was 1's, 2's, and 5's. Its not that hard for doing these divisions. I have mixed up the divisions with different divisions. I have decided to go up to 15 instead of 12. for my ones I just went up to 10 because they are the easiest to do.

Commenting
L.I to comment on someone's blog and check for any mistakes.
This week I have decided to comment on Leon's Blog. His blogpost was about what he did for inquiry. While I was reading his blurb he didn't add much information on what he did for the D.L.O. He just talked about what M.A.I.N stands for and the immediate cause. I think that he should work on talking about his D.L.O more than talking about other things that don't relate to his D.L.O.

Multiplication
L.I to use different strategies to solve an equation
This week for Math we had to create a slide presentation about multiplication. On the slide you had to include an actiivty for veiwers to interact with. That means we had to make a slide that can let people from around the world do an activty that you have made. In my D.L.O I included 3 equations for people to solve, but with those equations you had to use 3 different strategies to get the answer. Once you have got your answer you have to remove the circles to check that your answer(s) were right. Also on my D.L.O I included some strategies that I know. Those stategies can help you solve 2 of the equations, but you need to figure out a third one. I have linked some video's explaining how to do the two methos/Strategies. So you can check them out.

Key board| Dancing mat | Keyboarding drills
This week for Keyboarding I have decided to do my Level 4 Stage 1.
I learnt what fingers needed to touch them when I am typing. Also in the lesson video it did a little reminder on what I did on Level 1 Stage 1,2 and 3. I think this really helped me. Next week I will do Level 2 Stage 5, to try and complete all of the stages and levels.

Boxing | Kiwi sport
This week is our first week of Kiwi Sport. Our Kiwi Sport was Boxing. We had a girl come in and teach us the discipline of boxing. Her name was Pac's. Pac's was our coach for the term. First up we had a warm up session. For our warm up we did Knee tag. To play knee tag you had to have a partner. With that partner both of you need to try and touch each others knee using your hands. If you get tagged you got to do 1 burby. It was also tiring at the same time. After our warm up we had to get our golves and our boxing golves. We only had 16 seconds to get back and be ready. We all then had to do 1 burby because we didn't get on the floor fast enough. Then we had to choose a number with your partner. I was number 2 and my partner Victoria was number 1. The skills that we learnt was Jab and Cross. First line was 2 that had to be the rock. So that means that we need to stand stil and our partner will try and move us. Pacs shouted out Jab and cross and we had to copy what she said.
