Hour Of Code

This week I have been introduced to a new game for reading. It is called Hour of code, this game was introduced to us because it is just like reading. The aim of this game was to get the character to get to the finishing point, there were 11 levels/games to play. When you were finished with playing all the levels then you would get a certificate for playing the game. Some of the levels were easy, but some were hard. We needed to use our knowledge to use the exact amount of movement blocks to get the full points. If we went over the maximum amount of blocks then we wouldn't get the full points, but if we stayed in the limit of the blocks then we would get the full points. I really enjoyed paying this game and I think it really helps in reading.

Graphics w/ Mrs. Ferguson

This week we have had our first day back at tech for term 3. We have been on tinker cad adding more detail to our character of our teacher (Mrs. Anderson). After being on tinker cad we went on with making a google presentation on parts that we might need in our games that we are making. I took a while to think of parts for me to add because I'm making a puzzle and I don't need much parts for a puzzle besides puzzle pieces. I really enjoyed tech this week and I am ready for what we do net week.

Graphics W/ Mrs. Ferguson

This week we had our last week of tech for term 2. I have been staring my day off with cutting out my photo for my puzzle. The photo was stuck onto a cardboard paper and on the cardboard paper was a puzzle outline that I drew over last week. I have followed the lines of the puzzle outline and cut out half of the puzzle. Next term I will continue cutting out the puzzle outline and then I can get Mrs. Ferguson to try to 3D print it. I have enjoyed doing tech with Mrs. Ferguson this term and I can't wait to finish off my puzzle.

Maths Game

The Math game I created helps you practice your time tables. If you get the correct answer you will see I have made an animated GIF that shows you your answer is correct. If you get an answer wrong you will see another animated GIF that shows your that your answer in incorrect, also you get the option to look at a video that helps you understand a bit more of time tables. Creating this Math games challenged me to think about my wrong answers just as much as my correct answers because I didn't want to make it too east, I also had to think about the layout of my game because I wanted to make sure that my game was neat and tidy. When I thought that I had finished creating my game I got a friend to play my game and test out the links of each question. I also got feedback from my friend which made me change up my game.
