This week we were visited by Johnny from Rhythm Interactive. Johnny came to our school to teach us about the rhythms and songs of drumming, LS2 helped the juniors with drumming, just in case they needed help. We listened to the rhythm that Johnny gave us followed it. Johnny would break each beat into 3 parts so that we could learn it step by step. The whole school was involved in this fun event. Johnny also taught us about a phrase, which was "If you can say it you can drum it". The drums that we played with were made from Africa which was called Djembe. I really enjoyed today's event because I got to learn about the rhythms of drumming.
