Graphics w/ Mrs. Ferguson
This week for tech I am carrying on with waiting for my jigsaw to be 3D printed. Mrs. Ferguson has 3D printed some of my jigsaw puzzle but it is not completed yet. I have been using this time to help others with their project. Mrs Ferguson then cut out a small puzzle and asked me if the size of the small puzzle was alright for my bigger picture/puzzle. Mrs. Ferguson said that she will stretch out the smaller puzzle to make it bigger. Next week I will have my puzzle made bigger so that my photo can be printed on it.

Graphics w/ Ferguson
This week at tech we started off the day with making arts for our games, Haylee and I are doing puzzles so we didn't know what pieces we needed. So we asked Mrs. Ferguson, and she told us about a new site, it's called Thingiverse. Thingiverse is a site with designs that people have made and released on the site. These people know that people could use these designs to make a new creation. I searched up Jigsaw and found designs that people made. I have taken a screen Shot of them and I have put the photo on my Google presentation. Once I finished doing that I started to use the plasticine to try and create my own puzzle piece outline. I really enjoyed tech this week and I am excited to see what I can do with my puzzle next week.

This week we have had our first day back at tech for term 3. We have been on tinker cad adding more detail to our character of our teacher (Mrs. Anderson). After being on tinker cad we went on with making a google presentation on parts that we might need in our games that we are making. I took a while to think of parts for me to add because I'm making a puzzle and I don't need much parts for a puzzle besides puzzle pieces. I really enjoyed tech this week and I am ready for what we do net week.

Graphics W/ Mrs. Ferguson
This week we had our last week of tech for term 2. I have been staring my day off with cutting out my photo for my puzzle. The photo was stuck onto a cardboard paper and on the cardboard paper was a puzzle outline that I drew over last week. I have followed the lines of the puzzle outline and cut out half of the puzzle. Next term I will continue cutting out the puzzle outline and then I can get Mrs. Ferguson to try to 3D print it. I have enjoyed doing tech with Mrs. Ferguson this term and I can't wait to finish off my puzzle.

Tech @ Tamaki College
This week we had another tech day at Tamaki College. This week at Tamaki College we have been looking at how we can make designs into games that we can physically hold. We were given ideas that we could use, we were given a piece of paper to make our 4 designs. We could rather look some ideas up on the internet, Use some Ideas from Mrs Ferguson, or make up some ideas. I only drew 2 designs, they were a tic tac toe that I changed up the X's and O's and a Puzzle with a photo of one of my favourite bands. I have chosen to do the puzzle because I think that it is a really cool design. I have enjoyed tech with Mrs Ferguson. Next week Mrs. Ferguson will print out my photo for my favourite band.

Tech @ Tamaki College
This week at tech was great. We were with Mrs Ferguson for our second lesson or Graphics. We started of with finishing our DLOs that we made about toys. We wrote the labels of the game, the materials that the game was made out of and how to play the game. We tried to do this with at least 2 or 3 of the games. We then moved onto doing the basics of graphics. We were taught how to make 3D shapes and how to shade them with different tones of colours. We used our pencils to do the shading. We learnt about the Light tone, The medium Tone and the Dark tone. We used these tones to colour in the sides of our 3D Shapes. Once we were used to doing it suing the pencil, we were allowed to use the coloured pencils to do some more shading. I really enjoyed doing the shadings this week with Mrs Ferguson.
