Interactive story book | Questions

L.I to make a book interactive.
L.I to analyse a story for it's conflict and resolution.
This week for Reading we had to do a slide that was interactive story book. It was for a book called U-Turn. The Interactive story book was were people can press something on a slide presentation and then do activity and stuff on it. If you press the highlighted things on the 2nd slide you will be taken to a different slide. You have to answer the questions correctly. If you answer the question wrong it will show up with "Incorrect". There are 2 Te reo Maori questions, 4 vocabulary questions and 1 figurative language question

Commenting

This week I have decided to comment on Alayahs blog post. I really liked her blogpost because it had a long blurb. I asked her a question on how long it took to write the blog post. I thought that she needed to work on not adding boring information that no one really wants to hear. But other then that I loved her work.

Visualizing & Questioning

This week for reading we learnt 2 strategies. They were Questioning and Visualizing. Visualizing is when you read a book that has no pictures and think about what the story said and imagine a picture of what happen in your head.Questioning is were you ask a question about something. For Example: What's your name?

The Multiplier

L.I split a 2-digit number into tens and ones. The Multiplier to partition and solve 2-digit by 1-digit multiplications. describe how to solve 2-digit by 1-digit multiplications using a diagram. I learnt how to play a new math game and how to split numbers up to solve the equation. I learnt it by answering a few questions and splitting up the numbers and then picking one one to put on my blog.

Q+A

l.I to assess Author's purpose and determine the reliability of information given in the text. I learnt what a type of text was they were Procedrul, Information report, Explanation, Narrative, Recount and Persuasive. I learnt it when I was sitting on the mat while Mr Wong was talking about what kind of type of text their were there was 6 types of text.

Emailing earth

L.I To generate questions using the QAR strategy.I learnt to answer questions that our whole group have came up with. Then we had to answer the questions by using QAR bookmark and then we had to answer them with our own thoughts.I learnt it by reading this book and then trying to see if I can answer any of the questions that our group came up with.
