Facts - What do you know about the character?
  • That she loves something very much.
  • That the character is a girl.
  • There are boys in the book.
Quotes - What does the character say? Write some brief quotes that help you to understand what the character is like.

  • Happy
  • Sad
  • Scared/terrified
  • Annoyed
Actions - What does the character actually do?
  • Walks away from best friend and goes to the swing
Getting inside the character’s head - Write down some of the character’s thoughts and feelings.
  • The character sometimes gets very anxious.

What can you infer about the character?

There are girls in the book and  boys as  well.



LI: To infer information about a character.



I learned to write a Character Inference and for it I had to write down Facts,Quotes,Actions and I had to get inside my character head. I learnt it by reading my book and then by reading the Inferences and then I memorized somethings that we know about the character and somethings that are in the book.
