Day 5: Activity 2: Leading by example


Today I have completed my second activity for Day 5. This activity was to choose someone in my life and explain who this person is, why I chose that person and what she did.

Day 5: Activity 1: Everyday Heroes


Today I have completed my first activity for Day 5. This activity was to create a brainstorm at least 5 ways to help support the people affected by the fire. I have created a screencastify of me saying the 5 ways to support people affected by the fire. If my recording did not make sense I apologise.

Day 4: Activity 3: Wise Words

Today I have completed my last activity for Day 4. This activity was to choose someone in my life and ask them what their words of wisdom was. Down below will be the person I chose and what they said.

The person I chose - My Mum

What did she say? - "Work hard to achieve your goal"

She said this to me as she is really proud of me for getting Head girl. She says that I have achieved a lot from getting this leadership role.

Day 4: Activity 2: Celebrating Diversity


Today I have completed my second activity for Day 4. This activity was to look at 4 links that lead to a site or a youtube clip. The link would be about a tribe such as the Mayan people. We were to choose 2 tribes and write 2 facts about them. To get full point you write down  2 facts for each group.

Day 4: Activity 1: Guiding Principles

Today I have completed my first activity for Day 4. This activity was to use a Whakatauki from a site. There were several Whakataukis but you could only choose one. The one that you chose was the one that you put on your poster. On the poster you include the Whakatauki you chose, why it means something to you and a photo that guides the whakatauki.
