Day 5: Activity 2: Leading by example
Today I have completed my second activity for Day 5. This activity was to choose someone in my life and explain who this person is, why I chose that person and what she did.
Hello Florence! It's great that you have chosen to talk about your mom for this activity, she is definitely someone you can look up to as a role model. That was really kind of her, especially having that attitude influenced on to you. Is Tala Samoan currency? Great work!
Hi Florence!, What a great random act of kindness your mum has done. Giving money to homeless people is awesome. Great work on completing this SLJ activity. What is something that you have done that was a random act of kindness?
My name is Matilda. I live in Auckland, and this summer I am working as one of the blog commenters that will be reading and commenting on your blog posts. I am really looking forward to reading your post for the summer learning journey!
Nice work on this post! This is such a lovely example of a random act of kindness. I think that if everyone in the world did one RAK everyday it would make the world a much happier place. What do you think?
Can you think of any examples of a RAK that you have done? I’d love to hear some!
Hi Florence, I liked how you said that your Mum gave the homeless woman some change. If everyone that walked past a homeless person gave them $1, we wouldn't have as many homeless people in New Zealand. Would you give a homeless person 1 or 2 dollars if they asked for it?
