Safety Poster

L.I to make a poster for kids to keep safe.I learned to make a poster about keeping safe and I worked with Sakina and we made some decisions for people who read this they will know what to do.I learned it by finding some pictures and by writing down some steps for kids so that they know what to do.

Raz kids

Today I did Raz kids and I had to choose a book and I had to read the book,listen to the book and to answer questions about the book. The Book I chose  was about Barack Obama.

Persuade words - Word art

L.I: to show what we already know about the purpose and language of advertising.I learned to write 20 persuasive words and to make it on a word art.I learnt it by thinking of words that might convince people to buy/get Something that they heard/Saw on T.v. I also had to pick a shape and I had chosen a brain and think we had to screen shot it then put it on our blog.

Kiwican

L.I to be Resilient in what you do and try your best.We learned to make a blog post of what we learned at kiwi can and we learned about resilience and emotions. We learned by using Emotions in two activities and to be resilient and we also learned by taking photos of us doing the two activities and after we wrote down how to play the game and what you have to do.

How to Share Food Equally.

Divide a region into equal parts using materials or imaging. Share equally using materials or imaging.We learned how to share food equally and to use our knowledge to explain somethings about fraction or about the process we did.We learned it by using a google drawing to show how we can share food equally and we had to explain how we shared the food equally and we also had to make a few fractions to show what kind of fractions there were.

Winter Learning Journey - Day #4 Activity 1

For this I had to read this Farewell Split. Then I had to write what the locals did to try save the wales.

It was late at night when My Friends Were Nowhere to be seen, When I realized that I had walked away from my camp site. This week I was planning on doing the winter learning Journey so I went on the internet and started to do some of the activity's I started with Day #1 but I wanted to do other days rather then stay doing only one activity but I really enjoy doing the Winter Learning Journey so you should try this out.

Winter Learning Journey Day #3 Activity 2

For this activity I had read about New Zealand are working to kill pests like possum. Then you had to form a opinion and three reason why you think that way. I agree with New Zealanders that pests should be killed. My reasons:

1. Because they might carry diseases.
2. They frighten some people.
3. They kill things and leave the dead thing somewhere where it could stink.
4. possums can kill native animals.
5.  Although many people think opossums are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, there are several areas of intelligence in which they soar. For one, they have a remarkable ability to find food and to remember where it is. When tested for the ability to remember where food is, opossums scored better than rats, rabbits, cats, dogs … but not as well as humans. They also can find their way through a maze more quickly than rats and cats.

For the winter learning Journey I had to write something about the whale rider and what I saw in the trailer. So the movie was talking about a boy who thought that he was a girl when he was a boy. In trailer #1 The boy had accidentlly broke his fathers sick and his farther got really mad at him and after the dad felt selfish for what he did to his son.

k   I enjoyed visiting Tane Mahuta Because It is the largest most oldest tree in New Zealand and It is also suitable for Buggies and Children so I can Bring My Whole family and we can probably have a picnic there.

i did this for the Winter learning Journey and I had to Choose three facts from this site and I wasn't allowed to copy and past so I only was allowed to write the Facts in my own words.

Narrative

                                                       Title : The Midnight Monster.

         

Beginning - Going into the basement.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”Jack and Jill went down into the basement to see what the noise was and Jack said “We haven’t been down here ever in our lives”

Jill said “Ok just because we haven’t been here before it can’t be that scary... can it?”

“You can Say that again” said Jack rolling his eyes.

Jack and Jill walked around the basement and then they saw something like a black figure rush fastly past their eyes.

“H-h-hey Jack Do you know what that was?” said Jill

Jack  said  

“Um…. N-n-nope not really?”

“What do you think that was then?” Said Jill still being afraid.

The Monster.

Jack and Jill walked closer to the black figure. Jack and Jill were scared to go closer but then the Black figure turned out to be a big and black monster and it went closer to Jack and Jill. Jack and Jill went backwards slowly then the monster walked closer and closer then Jack said

“ JILL RUN!!!! Right now!!!”Jack And Jill Ran as fast as they could.

But Suddenly Jack tripped over a toy that was left on the ground and the monster ran to Jack.

No!!!!”,Jill's scream was so loud that the monster had ran somewhere that Jill couldn’t see it anymore.

Jill ran to Jack and started to cry her first drop of tear had landed on him and Jill said “JACK!!” You're alive.

Comes Back To Life

Then Jack said

“What happened?” Then Jill said

“Long Story!” Then Jack said

“Ok I am getting a bit bored now how about we go upstairs and - as soon as Jack could say anything else Jill said something.

“I kinda wanna stay in the basement for a little bit. Jack said

“Um…. are you sure it is kinda getting late and it has been a long time and I think we should go to bed” Yea I guess you're right” Said Jill. Then they went back upstairs and went to bed.

But more did they know the Monster didn’t like mean kids so the Monster had to get it’s REVENGE!!!!

L.I to proofread and edit.I learnt to write a narrative with a few paragraph in it.I learnt it by doing a similar story as what I did in my Narrative Planning.I had to write something that was similar to My Narrative Story but not the same thing.

Celebrations around the World.

L.I to develop an understanding of different elements of Martariki. I learnt to write and make a google slide of celebrations around the world and I also had to add some detail of what the celebration is about. I learnt by thinking of special Acations like Easter,Halloween,Christmas and New Years Eve.I wanted to add a picture so people know what it meant.

Newspaper Report

 L.I To interact and comprehend a range of narrative texts.I learned to write a New paper Report by doing a poster of animals escaping the zoo.I learnt by writing important things down so that it was like a real poster and I also added the pictures on so that people know what the animals look like.

Re-Search the Author

 L.I To interact and comprehend a range of narrative texts.I learnt to find facts about Roald Dahl I also had to write some info and some things about Roald Dahl.I learnt by searching up some things about Roald dahl and then I would have to put that on the google slides then I would find more thing to put on then I can blog it.
