Today I did some reading.I went on a site called Raz kids it is a reading site for kids too do reading and so they can listen,read and answer questions about the story or parts of the story.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.

Angle Degree
L.I To measure angle using Protractor.I learnt how to use a protractor to measure Pie Fractions.I learnt it by looking at the results of what the Protractor had given me.I also learned it by working with my buddy's Mele and Marieta they helped me through out the whole process they did some fractions and I did some as well then at the end we got the work done.

To Develop an understanding of the different elements Matariki.I learn facts about Matariki and also i know there names there names are Matariki,Tupua-a-nuku,Tupu-a-rangi,Wai-puna-a-rangi,
Waita Ururangi Waiti.
I learn by answering the questions that were on the matariki site that the teachers had put up for the class.Another way we learned was by thinking of some facts to put on so that some people get some facts about Matariki.

To interact and comprehend a range of narrative texts.I learned to ask questions to a character that was in the book.I also learned to ask questions that are including in the book.I learned by thinking of good questions that were part of the story or what i have read.Another way how I learned was by thinking of question that aren't boring.I aso learned by saying to myself some questions that might be good to ask the character.

Technology.
I learnt to pick a photo and put it on the slides then you had to write stuff about the object and then you had to do it to the rest of them.I learnt by thinking of a picture that relates to the technology and then we had to write something in the letters.

Today we had to write a comment on a Tamaki primary student I had to comment on Irys's blog I had to greet them then make a connection about their blog post then you had to say something about the blog post then you say Keep up the great work.I learnt by thinking of something to say to the blog post,The blog post has to make sense or you had to work harder.

To buddy conference to start edit and check writing.I learned to comment on my buddy’s narrative.I had to write a comment on my buddy’s narrative to check for any mistakes or anything that isn’t supposed to be in the narrative.I learned by looking and reading the story to find any mistake if there were mistakes then you had to highlight the mistake then comment what was wrong.Then when you were finished on one person then go to your other buddy and do the same thing to them.

Describe a setting.
To interact and comprehend a range narrative texts.I learned to describe a setting and to write paragraphs about it.I learnt by making a grubber store full of lollies then my friend Fui described what's in my Grubber. At the end we both found a interesting Quote to add.
SSR Selfie
I learned how to take a photo of me and to add some detail of what the book is about.I learnt by choosing a book and I had to read the book then try to remember some of the parts of the story was and I had to take a photo of the book and myself then write something about the story.
Addition.
To solve Addition question’s using tidy numbers and Place Value.I learned how to solve a question using 2 strategies.I also learned to use the number line and place value house a place value house has 100 column 10 column and 1 column.The Number line is a straight line on it and you can skip count to any number and you can take away any number.I learn by going on a google docs and making this press this to see what we did.

Subtraction
Solve Subtraction Strategy.I learned to solve a answer using 3 ways.Another way I learned was how I had to use the same Subtraction number for all three strategies. I learned by doing Subtraction by using 3 strategy in different ways.I Learned by thinking of where to put the numbers or what numbers I learned by thinking of where to put the numbers and what numbers to put in.I used a number line,Place value house and algorithm.

Measurement
Measurement of length.I learned by using Google maps.Google Drawing and the LS1 map.I used the place value house to make the numbers bigger or smaller and to make the number bigger you have to move to the left and if you want to make your number smaller you move to the right and the you have rather a big number or a smaller number.By moving to the left will make it bigger by rather moving it to a bigger column like the thousands column,The millions column or the billions column.The more times you move to the left you will get a bigger number.I learned by using a Place value house,Google sheet and the LS1 Map you have to enter the measurements from the LS1 map and turn them into Meters,Kilometers,Metres, and miller mitre.
